Holly Bloom’s Garden – Shared Book
May 4, 2008
Today we shared a beautiful book called Holly Bloom’s Garden. It’s on a fantastic site called Lookybook, and you can browse and read books using your Smartboard. After we had read the book, we split into groups to do a Voicethread task. Here is what we thought about the book:

Dear Room 24, the class of “sparkling children”. I love your wonderful voice thread on Holly Bloom’s garden. I think you are very clever using all this amazing technology and next week I would love to come and visit your classroom and see how you are learning to use it. Well done I will be reading your page with interest.

What a wonderful way to share your learning and ideas about a book – and a wonderful way to read a book, too. You have given me some great ideas to do with my class.
Thank you for sharing.
