I was very impressed with what you all learnt about the camera and taking pictures from different angles. I was also amazed by the beautiful pictures that resulted in your discovery along the way. Albert Einstein said: 'The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.' What I think Albert Einstein meant by this, was that sometimes we stifle creativity because we try to keep learning in a small self-contained box we call 'learning' because this is what educators are expected to do. But not all learning is like this. In fact some of the best teaching and learning moments occur when you are given time to discover the journey for yourselves, with some guidance along the way of course. Your teachers have used a collaborative opportunity to create and give you, an extraordinary moment of self-discovery and learning. Which comes across very strongly in your comments about what you learnt about camera angles, your object for photography and the guidance from your teachers about what you could do to get the best picture.
